Spicy Mango Margarita
With a smoky chili salt rim and fresh mangos, this spicy mango margarita is the perfect cocktail to celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or any summer get together)! I absolutely love a cocktail that’s full of fresh flavors with a hint of spice, especially during the summer! This spicy mango margarita would pair perfectly with a grilled dinner or to quick off a vacation weekend.
As always, this cocktail comes together very quickly (with just a handful of ingredients) so you can start your happy hour asap! Everything comes together quickly in a blender, making cleanup a breeze.
So let’s get to it!

What You’ll Need to Make a Spicy Mango Margarita
For Margarita:
- 10 oz or 1/2 a mango – sliced
- 1 cup of ice
- 4 oz of silver tequila
- 3 oz of triple sec
- 1 lime – juiced
- 1 tbs of hot honey (regular honey is just fine)
- 1/2 a jalapeno – sliced
For Rim:
- 1 tbs of chili powder
- 3 tbs of course salt
- 2 tsp of lime zest
How To Make It
With a high powered blender, place all the margarita ingredients and blend for 30 seconds to a minute until everything is well incorporated. You can add or substract the amount of ice depending on how thick you want your mango margarita to be. Example, if you want your margarita thinner, I would only add 1/2 a cup of ice to the blender.
Take a lime wedge and coat the rim of your glass. Tilt your glass rim into the chili salt mix and coat the entire rim.
Pour up your spicy mango margarita and garnish your drink with a lime wedge and enjoy immediately! If your margarita is on the thinner side, I’d suggest adding ice to your glass so it stays deliciously cold.
