Apple Cider Margarita

This Apple Cider Margarita has already been promoted to the official Thanksgiving signature drink!

I’m honestly not one who always enjoys fall themed recipes. Most of the time, they are overly sweet and contain the same flavors over and over again.

However, when balanced just right, they can be utterly delicious and fun to share! This Apple Cider Margarita is the perfect example of that!

It has all the tastes of fall you could want, while still being refreshing! It’s a classic margarita balanced with a touch of natural sweetness from the apple cider and maple syrup.

Apple Cider Margarita Fall Cocktail

What I’m most proud about this cocktail is the honey salted rim! I just tried it on a whim, since I didn’t have cinnamon sugar, and I ended up falling in love with it!

It’s the perfect way to add more sweetness while still getting that delicious salty rim that I adore with margaritas!

So without further ado, let’s get to it!

What You’ll Need For An Apple Cider Margarita

For One Serving

  • 4 oz of Apple Cider
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1/2 oz of Cointreau
  • 2 oz of Silver Tequila
  • 1/2 tsp of maple syrup
  • Sliced apples
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Kosher Salt
  • Honey

How To Make It

Apple Cider Margarita

In a cocktail shaker, add ice and the first five ingredients and secure the lid. Shake for at least 30 seconds.

Pour some honey and salt separately on a small plate and roll the rim of your drinking glass in the honey first, followed by the salt, creating the rim.

Add ice to the glass and pour up your margarita. Garnish with some apple slices, a lime wedge, and a cinnamon stick and serve immediately.

I can’t wait to make this drink for the family to enjoy this Thanksgiving! It’s simple yet will definitely be a crowd pleaser! What do y’all think of this fall themed margarita? Let me know in the comments!

Cheers Y’all,
