Apple Cider Moscow Mule
Moscow Mules are one of my favorite all time drinks! Between the gorgeous copper mugs they’re served in to their classic light flavors, it’s definitely a drink for all seasons! To pay tribute to all fall flavors, this Apple Cider Moscow Mule is still really light to sip on, while enjoying sweet Apple cider and a kiss of whiskey.
A classic copper mug isn’t needed to make a great Moscow Mule, but what’s the fun in that? I first fell in love with mules and copper while I was on a ski trip in Breckinridge, Colorado. It just adds an extra touch of fun while making sure your mule stays extra cold!
Ever since that ski trip, I have an ever growing copper collection in my kitchen. Once we finally have the kitchen remodeled, I’ll be so excited to proudly display them along with my antique cast iron skillets!
What You’ll Need To Make An Apple Cider Moscow Mule
- 4 oz of Apple Cider
- Juice of 1/2 a Lime
- 2 oz of Your Favorite Whiskey
- Splash of Ginger Beer
- Cinnamon Sticks
- Rosemary
How To Make It
In a copper mug, add ice and the first four ingredients. Stir until well mixed and garnish with cinnamon sticks and rosemary. Serve and enjoy immediately.
You can play around with different types of whiskey to get a uniquely flavored mule. I tested out a honey whiskey, which added a ton of sweetness. I probably would try it with regular whiskey next time. If you want more of a cinnamon flavor, adding some fireball would be a great choice.
Since I have a large amount of mule mugs, I just love to serve Moscow Mules during the holiday season or just for a family get together. Everyone loves them and they’re such a quick and easy drink to make!
