Bourbon Pear Cider Cocktail
Thanksgiving week is here and this Bourbon Pear Cider Cocktail makes the perfect signature cocktail! With spiced pear purée and your favorite bourbon, this happy hour special is a fun way to enjoy the last bits of fall!
So let’s get to!
What You’ll Need To Make A Bourbon Pear Cider Cocktail
- 2 oz of spiced pear purée
- 2 oz of bourbon
- 1.5 oz of apple cider
- 3/4 oz of sage ginger simple syrup
Add everything to a cocktail shaker with some ice and shake for about 10 seconds. Pour up your Pear Bourbon Cider cocktail and garnish with a sage leaf and enjoy!
For the Spiced Pear Purée:
- 1 Bartlett Pear, chopped
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ground clove
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbs water
Add all ingredients to a food processor or blender and pulse until you get a smooth consistency, slowly adding water as needed.
You can use your favorite kind of pears or whatever you have available. I love to use a Bartlett pear because they are on the sweeter and juicer side!
If you want to level up this cocktail a step further, you could sauté the pears and spices in a small saucepan for a more caramelized flavor! Just sauté until the pears are softened and golden before transferring to the food processor.
If you need more cocktail inspiration this Thanksgiving, I shared a blog post on 5 Cocktails to Enjoy This Fall! All are perfectly seasonal cocktails that can come together in minutes!
And if you’re bartending for a crowd, all of my cocktail recipes can be easily doubled, tripled, etc!
The easiest way to serve is to add everything in a large drink dispenser with ice on the side. That way, guests can serve themselves and the cocktail mixture doesn’t get diluted.
Cheers Y’all,
