Easter Brunch Bramble

It’s hard to believe that Easter is just around the corner! If you happen to be hosting a brunch this Easter, I have the perfect cocktail for you. It’s called the Easter Brunch Bramble! It only contains five ingredients and there’s no extra steps or need to make a simple syrup.

Easter Brunch Bramble

A Bramble cocktail always contains gin, lemon juice, and crushed ice. I wanted to make an elegant brunch version of the bramble that actually contains ingredients that you typically see in a classic brunch.

The two star ingredients that you don’t usually reach for to make a cocktail are what takes this Easter Brunch Bramble to another level, so just hear me on this one.

So let’s get to it.

What You’ll Need to Make an Easter Brunch Bramble

For 2 Servings
  • 2 Tbs of Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1.5 Tbs of Fig Jam (or your favorite fruit jam)
  • 4 oz of Dry Gin
  • 2 oz of Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1/2 a Lemon – Juiced

How To Make It

In a shaker filled halfway with ice, pour in all the ingredients and give a hard shake for around 30 seconds.

Take your cocktail glass of choice (linked similar one here) and fill with crushed ice, about 3/4 of the way. With a handheld strainer above your glass, pour over your bramble cocktail.

It’s important to strain your bramble to insure that no yogurt clumps or seeds from your jam make it into your drink. No one wants yogurt clumps!

Garnish your Easter Brunch Bramble cocktail with a lemon twist and even some fruit! If you want extra points, pick the same fresh fruit that was incorporated in your fruit jam.

The greek yogurt gives a creamy texture with a touch of tang that pairs perfectly with the sweetness of the jam. The lemon juice brings it all together, cutting through it all making it balanced and an absolute joy to sip on.

I’m definitely recreating this cocktail for Easter and keep it for a special brunch get together!
