Simple Mango Paloma

This simple mango paloma is the superb cocktail for Cinco De Mayo and it only calls for five ingredients! I’ve been in a “the simpler the better” mentality these last few months and it’s been so beneficial when it comes to creating cocktails! Honestly, who wants to waste time in the grocery or liquor store looking for specialty ingredients you’ll only use once? Definitely not me!

A traditional paloma calls for grapefruit soda, but my love for a simple cocktail called for me to use an item that’s always stocked in my fridge: sparkling water. I absolutely love sparkling water on it’s own, or to finish off a cocktail with some bubbles! It’s much more versatile than grapefruit soda, but if you want to keep things traditional, it will certainly work for this simple mango paloma!

So let’s get to it!

What You’ll Need To Make a Simple Mango Paloma

For One Serving

  • 1/2 cup of Mango Puree – one whole mango
  • 2 oz of Tequila
  • 1/2 a Lime – juiced
  • 1/2 Tablespoon of Melted Honey or Agave
  • Splash of Sparkling Water or Grapefruit Soda

How To Make It

Slice up a ripe mango and place in a blender with a splash of water. Blend until you have a smooth mango puree and set to the side. In your cocktail glass, add the tequila, lime juice, and melted honey. Afterwards, add in the mango puree and stir until ingredients are well mixed. Top off with crushed ice and some sparkling water (or grapefruit soda) and enjoy immediately!

Simple Mango Paloma

I love this simple mango paloma since you only need five ingredients and it comes together in less than 10 minutes! If you want a frozen palmoa, you could just throw everything into the blender with about 1/2 a cup of ice and blend. Then, pour your drink about 3/4 full and top off with sparkling water!
