Booozy Pumpkin Spiced Latte
For you pumpkin spiced latte fans out there, this recipe is for you! Well, even if you’re like me and love a simply black cup of coffee in the morning, this one’s for you too! I’m writing this blog post in such a happy mood because I just woke this morning in Florida and it’s currently 45 degrees!! It’s a rare phenomenon here in the Sunshine state so I always have to celebrate when those rare wonderful moments occur, and this Booozy Pumpkin Spiced Latte is a perfect way to do that!
This Booozy Pumpkin Spiced Latte is made with the classic ingredients you’ll find in a classic PSL, but of course, it’s a tad elevated. I’m talking about pure pumpkin puree, a delish hint of bourbon, and all the fall seasonings. So no basic pumpkin spiced latte’s here!
So let’s get to it!
What You’ll Need To Make a Booozy Pumpkin Spiced Latte
for one serving
- 1 tbs of pure pumpkin puree
- double shot of freshly brewed espresso
- 1.5 oz of bourbon
- 1 tbs of brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg and cinnamon (or 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice)
- 3/4 of a cup of your favorite milk (I usually use oat milk for lattes)
- whipped cream
- cinnamon sticks for garnish
How To Make It
I love to make this recipe in an extra large coffee mug so you have plenty of room to work with. Add the first five ingredients to your mug and stir with a spoon until the pumpkin and spices are well incorporated. Then, add the oat milk and top your booozy pumpkin spiced latte with whipped cream and garnish with a cinnamon stick (or three)! I also love to add some extra nutmeg and cinnamon to the whipped cream for a little extra flavor!
