Balsamic Strawberry Caprese with Burrata

Introducing a fun (and better) spring version of a caprese salad! This Balsamic Strawberry Caprese with Burrata is filled with so much flavor and just as beautiful! This recipe is simple and is a member of the 20 minute appetizer series. It’s absolutely perfect on its own, but you can add some toasted bread if you wish!

Sometimes, the best recipes are ones that are simple and filled with seasonal ingredients. Over the last few years, I’ve grown to appreciate seasonally focused recipes for their deliciousness and the convenience of only needing to use a handful of ingredients (because the taste is already there).

So let’s get to it!

How To Make It

Okay y’all, here me out. It sounds like a lot of steps, but it comes together quickly and the total ingredient list is under 10 items. So here’s how we make it.

  1. In a medium saucepan, add all the ingredients for the balsamic strawberries. Place the pan on medium heat and stir constantly to incorporate the flavors and heat up the strawberries. Lower the heat and let the strawberries simmer for about 10 minutes or until they’re soft (almost jammy).
  2. In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients for the marinated strawberries. Stir together well and let the strawberries marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. In a serving dish, spread out the burrata and add the balsamic and marinated strawberries. Top off with more hot honey, olive oil, basil, balsamic glaze, red pepper flakes, and torn basil leaves.
  4. Serve and enjoy!

See guys! I was able to break it down in just four simple steps! This Balsamic Strawberry Caprese with Burrata appetizer definitely deserves the chef’s kiss of approval and I know your guests will be nothing short of impressed!

Happy Cooking Y’all,
