Bridgerton Cocktails to Sip While Watching Season 3

The Sunflower

the sunflower

A peachy libation for our sweet (yet secretly spicy) wallflower, Penelope Featherington! This cocktail is the perfect sip to start out the new season as we toast to Penelope’s newfound confidence, wardrobe, and much deserved attention from the ton this season.

What You’ll Need To Make The Sunflower Cocktail

for one serving
  • 2 oz peach purée or juice
  • 1 oz gin or vodka
  • 1 oz Cointreau
  • 1 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • hot honey and rose petals, for rim (optional)

How To Make It

Take a coupe glass and cover the rim with hot honey (this peach flavor pairs beautifully) and edible rose petals. Gently place your rimmed glass in the freezer to allow the glass to chill and set your honey rose rim. While that’s chilling, add the first five ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice, shaking until well mixed and chilled. Pour your sunflower cocktail into your chilled coupe glass and garnish with an edible flower (in great wallflower fashion).

The Bourbon Traveler

the bourbon traveler

As any fan could guess, the Bourbon Traveler could be for no one other than our dear Colin Bridgerton. As Colin has gallivanted around the world, a traveler brings back all the stories and inspiration of their travels (as one does). The Bourbon Traveler is a balanced mixed of the exotic flavors of pineapple, aperol, and bourbon. I can easily see Colin sipping on this at Mondrich’s while trying to figure out his heart and feelings for Penelope.

What You’ll Need To Make The Bourbon Traveler

for one serving
  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Aperol
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Honey Syrup
  • 1.5 oz Pineapple Juice

How To Make It

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add all five ingredients and shake until well chilled. Pour your Bourbon Traveler into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a pineapple leaf.

Lady Whistledown

Lady Whistledown

The biggest gossip of the ton deserves her very own cocktail, woundn’t you say? Lady Whistledown is indeed a woman who’s business savvy, wit, and ambition is one we can all admire. At least, admire far enough away without having anything scandalous published about us! So, naturally, she deserves her very own signature sip to enjoy while writing the tea on the latest scandal.

What You’ll Need To Make The Lady Whistledown

for one serving
  • 1.5 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 3 oz of Sparkling Rosé, chilled
  • edible flowers for garnish

How To Make It

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the first three ingredients and shake until well chilled. Place a floral ice cube (I used edible rose petals) in a chilled glass and pour in your cocktail. Garnish with a lemon wheel and enjoy while reading the latest Whistledown sheet!

Peach and Basil Whiskey Sour

peach and basil whiskey sour

Next on the list is for our favorite sister, Eloise Bridgerton. With her sharp feminine wit and strong personality, I thought that she deserved none other than this feminine take on the classic whiskey sour. With the sweetness of peach and fresh basil, it’s the perfect compliment to the otherwise masculine taste of whiskey.

What You’ll Need To Make A Peach and Basil Whiskey Sour

for one serving
  • 1.5 oz peach purée or juice
  • 3-5 basil leaves, torn
  • 2 oz whiskey
  • 3/4 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz honey syrup
  • 1 egg white

How To Make It

In an empty cocktail shaker, add the first three ingredients and muddle to release the flavors of the basil. Once well muddled, add in the lemon juice, honey syrup, and egg white. Dry shake (no ice) until a frothy consistency has formed. Add in the ice and shake once again until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with fresh basil.

Blooming Bee’s Knees

Bridgerton Cocktails to Sip While Watching Season 3

You didn’t think I’d make a list of Bridgerton cocktails without a Bee’s Knees, did you dear reader? Fear not, because this Blooming Bee’s Knees is for our favorite mother of the ton, Violet Bridgerton. She’s the mother we all would hope to have if we lived in the Regency era. She is classy, bright, and loved by all (just like the bee’s knees).

What You’ll Need To Make a Blooming Bee’s Knees

for one serving
  • 2 oz Gin (preferably Empress 1908 Gin for that gorgeous violet hue)
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 1 oz Honey Syrup

How To Make It

In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the first three ingredients and shake until well chilled. Place a floral ice cube (I used edible rose petals) in a chilled coupe glass and pour over your bee’s knees. Garnish with a lemon twist and enjoy!

The Charming Viscount

the charming viscount

This next cocktail is a charmer indeed, almost as much as Anthony Bridgerton. When I was thinking about a cocktail for the Viscount, I wanted to give him something a tad more sophisticated, with a touch of floral notes to celebrate his secret romantic side. I could definitely see Anthony enjoying this brandy cocktail at White’s or in his office after a long day of contending with his family (and their finances).

What You’ll Need To Make The Charming Viscount

for one serving
  • 2 oz Brandy
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • 3/4 oz Honey Rosemary Simple Syrup
  • 3/4 oz Elderflower Liqueur
  • 1 egg white
  • sprig of rosemary for garnish

How To Make It

In an empty cocktail shaker, add the first five ingredients and give a good dry shake (no ice) until a frothy consistency has formed. Afterwards, add ice and shake again until well chilled. Strain your cocktail into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a rosemary sprig.

The Bee Sting

Cocktails to Sip While Watching Bridgerton Season 3

The name of this cocktail was just too good to not add to the list! The bee is very symbolic in the Bridgerton series and the bee sting changes the lives of our characters in more ways than one. This play on the bee’s knees is for our new Viscountess, Kate Bridgerton. She’s bold, spicy, and deep down, a big romantic. I think we’ve never been so thankful for a bee sting in that garden at Aubrey Hall..

What You’ll Need to Make The Bee Sting

for one serving
  • 2 oz gin
  • 3/4 oz jalapeño honey syrup or hot honey
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 3/4 oz Cointreau
  • rose petals and hot honey, for rim (optional)

How To Make It

If you’re wanting to recreate this gorgeous rose petal rim, I suggest rimming the glass with hot honey and sprinkling on the rose petals before carefully placing in the freezer to set. I usually let it sit for at least 30 minutes so the honey is sure to be well set.

While that’s setting, add the first five ingredients to a cocktail shaker. If you’re using hot honey instead of the jalapeño simple syrup, I would dry shake (no ice) so the honey can be properly mixed. Once well mixed, add in the ice and shake again. Pour into your beautifully rimmed glass filled with ice and enjoy!

Bourbon Basil Smash

bourbon basil smash

This Bourbon Basil Smash is for my absolute favorite brother, Benedict Bridgeton. He brings such a fun golden retriever energy to the Bridgerton dynamic and he’s also very easy on the eyes (I can’t wait for his season). Anyway, I digress…

Since Benedict is an artist, he’s much more in touch with his sweet romantic side, so I thought the addition of sweet basil to this bourbon smash was an excellent representation of our dear Number Two. I could easily see Benedict drinking this cocktail at Mondrich’s with his brothers or while working on his latest artistic creation.

What You’ll Need to Make the Bourbon Basil Smash

for one serving
  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1.5 oz lemon juice
  • 1.5 oz honey syrup
  • 5 basil leaves, torn
  • 3/4 oz elderflower liqueur

How To Make It

In an empty glass, add all the ingredients and muddle to release the flavors of the basil. Add lots of crushed ice, a lemon wheel, and finish off by garnishing with fresh basil before enjoying!

Bridgerton Cocktails to Sip While Watching Season 3: Watch Party Inspiration

If I was hosting a Bridgerton watch party, this would be my mood board for inspiration! You can’t have a Bridgerton worthy party without an abundance of gorgeous flowers, candlelit tablescapes, and delicious cocktails! I hope y’all enjoyed this list of Bridgerton-worthy cocktails to make while watching the new season (finally)!

My plans will probably include getting up super early on premiere day and binge watching part one! We’ve waited long enough for this season so I won’t be able to wait until cocktail hour to watch (but maybe perhaps a rewatch party would be fun)!

Cheers Dearest,
