Guava Kombucha Margarita
With spring finally here, there’s nothing better than a delicious margarita to kick off the new season! This Guava Kombucha Margarita is refreshing, a tad sweet, and perfectly tart. I was trying to think of a way to enjoy all the refreshing flavors of spring while the spring produce slowly starts to roll in.
While shopping in a somewhat sparse produce section at the grocery store, I stumbled upon a variety of kombucha! I figured it would be fun to play with a new ingredient and one that I wouldn’t have to stress about being ripe enough or spoiling in the fridge.
After grabbing a couple of flavors, I decided to try out a guava flavored kombucha first. I love how festive it is for the first week of spring and all the guava goodness in margarita form!
So let’s get to it!

What You’ll Need to Make a Guava Kombucha Margarita
for two servings
- 1/2 cup of Guava Flavored Kombucha (this is the brand I used)
- Juice of 1/2 a Lime
- 4 oz of Tequila
- 2 oz of Cointreau
- 1 Tbs of Honey
- Ice
- Lime Wedges
- Kosher Salt
How To Make It
In a cocktail shaker, pour in the the first five ingredients and shake for at least 30 seconds. Take your glass and wet the rim with a lime wedge and coat in salt to create a classic salt rim. If you’re feeling a little fancy, you can add some lime zest to your rim as well!
Fill your margarita glass with ice and pour over your Guava Kombucha Margarita. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
I can’t wait to try different kombucha flavors and test them out in more cocktails in the coming months! What flavor do you think I should try next? Let me know in the comments!
Cheers Y’all,
