What You’ll Need to Make a Pomegranate Prosecco Smash
For 4 Servings
- 1/2 cup of 100% Pomegranate Juice
- 4 oz of Vodka
- 2 oz of honey simple syrup
- 4 tbs of pomegranate arils
- One Bottle of Prosecco
- Rosemary sprig (optional)
How To Make It
In a cocktail shaker full of ice, add in the pomegranate juice, vodka, and simple syrup. Shake for 30 seconds.
To make the honey simple syrup, add equal parts honey and water to a sauce pan over high heat. Occasionally stir until mixture begins to boil and the honey has dissolved. Once cooled, place the simple syrup into an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to a week.
In an empty champagne flute or coupe, pour over your pomegranate mixture about 1/4 of the way. Add in the Prosecco, filling the glass to the rim. Garnish with pomegranate arils and rosemary (optional) and serve immediately!
You can usually find pomegranate arils (seeds) in the produce section in your local grocery store. If not, you can also just buy a whole pomegranate and extract them yourself. But why go through that hot mess? Trust me, it’s totally optional.
I tend to save Prosecco for special occasions and holidays, but who am I to say you can’t have Prosecco whenever you want?
Cheers Y’all,
