Strawberry Aperol Margarita
Strawberry season is in full swing and it’s given me so much inspiration for fun recipes to take advantage of the season. This strawberry aperol margarita is a nod to spring and the promise of summer and is a wonderful cocktail to welcome the warm weather!
After sharing my peach aperol margarita last year, which y’all loved, I figured why wouldn’t it also be perfect for strawberries as well? With fresh sweet strawberries, sweet aperol, and the surprise of hot honey (optional but most recommended), this margarita will become your next go to…

What You’ll Need To Make a Strawberry Aperol Margarita
for one serving
- 4 strawberries, stemmed and sliced
- 2 oz tequila
- 3/4 oz triple sec
- 1 oz Aperol
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1/2 oz hot honey (optional but absolutely amazing)
How To Make It
In a shaker or tall glass, add all the ingredients together and muddle until the strawberries are well broken down. Afterwards, set the shaker to the side and rim your cocktail glass with honey and cover with salt. This creates my absolute favorite way to enjoy a margarita, with a hot honey salt rim. If you haven’t tried it yet, I *must* insist that you do!
Afterwards, strain in your strawberry aperol margarita and garnish with a fresh strawberry and enjoy!

This strawberry aperol margarita is more on the sweeter side of the cocktails that I normally post, however, it can nice to enjoy a sweeter happy hour once in awhile! If you think this cocktail could be a tad too sweet for you, you can always leave the honey for just the outer rim.
